Functions
Catering for small groups or up to 300-400 guests depending on your requirements, the Darwin Trailer Boat Club provides a magnificent venue for members to hold private functions!
Facilities
The Clubs function areas are located overlooking the bay, either under the sails of the shaded area or beneath the palm trees right on the beach! A pool and playground are on-site. A microphone for the functions announcements can be arranged as can decorations.
Entertainment
The member holding the function may organise entertainment and advise the club prior to the event, if you require the Club to book the entertainment on your behalf a $20 fee will be applicable.
You are welcome to have Bands, Juke Boxes or D.J.’s however Music must be kept to a reasonable volume level. The club DOES NOT permit Strip shows or indecent acts.
Liquor
All beverages are charged at the current prices available at the bar although there are several options available for the purchase of beverages from the Club:
Fridge:
Fridge set up with a bar person supplied for serving drinks to you and your guests (costs apply)
Dry till:
Your guests use the bar, any drinks they purchase are charged to a bar tab previously arranged with the function organiser.
Eskies:
Specified drinks are supplied in ekies in your function area. An pre-organised stock is used and returns are credited at the end of the function.
Cash Bar:
Your guests buy their own drinks from the bar. (This option is not recommended for larger functions because of the difficulty of serving many individual orders in a short time)
Menu
Function menus are available upon request and catering is arranged with the Club’s Bistro. Catering is available for anything from Children’s Birthday Parties, to ‘Cocktail’ parties and formal Dinners.
Payment for function catering is 3 days prior to the event based on final confirmed numbers. Alternate arrangements can be made by prior arrangement.
Costs
Costs vary for different functions, for more information please call the clubs office on 89816749. When you call please have ready the following required information:
- anticipated number of guests.
- time of function (from.....to....)
- type of function.
- bar and catering requirements.
- entertainment details (if applicable).
Booking Information
Printable Function Booking SheetDeposit:
A function reservation deposit of $200.00 will be required to hold the Clubs ‘main sail’ function area and this will be deducted from the final Club bill for beverages and miscellaneous function costs.
Cancellation Policy:
Should it be necessary for a function booking to be cancelled after a deposit has been paid the deposit will be forfeit unless the venue and date can be resold. A cancellation/booking fee of $10.00 is charged when a deposit is refunded.
